Bourjois delice de poudre bronze and highlight review

So we have all seen those girls who give bronzer a bad name... Bright orange and shining like big shimmery beacon with harsh lines around the entire face. Each to their own of course but if like me you want to avoid this look but still look sun kissed, healthy and glowy - look no further!
Your probably familiar with Bourjois original 'delice de poudre' bronzer which is a firm favourite against many beauty lovers. shaped and scented to look like chocolate and gives a lovely natural bronze appearance. I had never actually tried this despite picking it up and putting it back several times when shopping. When this little gem was released, I was sold.
This new edition has the famous bronzer on one side and a highlighter on the other. I am a huge highlighter fan! I sometimes skip bronzer and embrace a pale and interesting style but i will never skip on highlighter, which i realise is a little backward.
I can definitely see now since trying the bronzer, what i have been missing. This bronzer adds the perfect amount of warmth to the face without looking orange. It adds depth and is brilliant if you like to contour as it is easy to work with and blends beautifully.
The highlighter was O.K. It adds a nice subtle shimmer so for everyday use it is fine. I personally prefer a bit more pigment when it comes to a highlighter and this one did have tiny specs of glitter inside it which you might love but it is personally something that i hate in not just highlighters but blushes bronzers and eye shadows.
I Have a love hate relationship with having the bronze and highlighter together in a duo pallet. Its nice to combine the two to add a subtle glowy bronze on the cheeks but can make it a little tricky to use each side individually.
As the highlighter in my personal opinion was a little disappointing i don't think i would repurchase this, however i would definitely buy the classic bronzer on its own as it really is worth the hype and such a steal at £7.99.
Have you tried this duo yet? what were your thoughts on the newly added highlighter?
